Filibuster and Mentors information

The Filibuster

The Filibuster is a monthly newsletter of the Michigan JCI Senate.  It contains articles from the President and Board members, a calendar of events, a notice and directions for the next meeting, as well as information on upcoming events and programs.  From time to time there may also be pictures from events.  Submissions to the newsletter are always welcome and encouraged from any member of the Michigan JCI Senate.

The Mentors

The Mentors is a quarterly newsletter of the US JCI Senate.  It contains articles from the US JCI Board and Region Vice Presidents as well as pictures from events.  The Mentors Collections program is a way for each state’s Senate organization to support the Mentors publication costs.  At each meeting or event of the Michigan JCI Senate, an envelope with a sign-in sheet is passed around.  Each member present signs his/her name and Senate number and adds a small donation to the envelope.  (One or two dollars.)  The money and lists are then turned into the Mentors business manager and published in the next issue.  The Michigan JCI Senate is very proud that we have consistently been the highest donor state to the Mentors for many years.
